Guildford Shakespeare's Pride and Prejudice heads to Jermyn Street ahead of 2025 tour

“I could easily forgive his pride, if he had not mortified mine.”

The Bennet family’s peaceful world is upended when a host of eligible bachelors descend upon the neighbourhood. Hearts race, tongues wag, and passions and possibilities swirl all around the Hertfordshire Hills. At the centre of the storm, the meeting of Lizzie Bennet and Mr Darcy sets off one of literature’s most iconic love stories.

Abigail Pickard Price returns to Jermyn Street Theatre with her hilarious, inventive adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved romantic comedy. Three actors bring a host of Austen’s unforgettable characters to life in the London premiere of Guildford Shakespeare Company’s sparkling production.

On until 7th September 2024

Snow White - The Roses Theatre

This year’s pantomime at The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury has broken its box office records with sell-out performances that will help to ensure the future of the theatre in 2023.

The classic tale of Snow White, brought up-to-date by BAFTA-winning writer, Maurice Gran (Birds of a Feather, The New Statesman) and Nick Wilkes (the Almost series), has amused generations from across the county over the last month, with a clever, laugh-out-loud script featuring an over-talkative interactive mirror, a troupe of high-spirited children toiling in Queen Malvinha’s silver mines and a joyous romance between IT guru Ted and eco-warrier Jim.
